Record OGL/2023/111/0069 in the Curaçao Gaming Authority register

Bitcasino.io: the highest ceiling in the table, and what it says

Bitcasino.io carries the strongest licence evidence in this set — an individual record, with active status, in the register of whoever issued it — and the highest payout limit we read: one million USDT a week, written into clause 6.10.

Two things separate this record from the other nine, and both can be checked by anyone who wants to go and look. The first is how far the licence evidence stands from its source. The second is the order of magnitude of the payout ceiling.

The licence has a record of its own, and the record reads “Active”

The holder is Moon Technologies B.V. and the licence is OGL/2023/111/0069, from the Curaçao Gaming Authority. We read the number on an individual record in that authority’s certificate register — an address pointing at that document rather than at a list where it might be found somewhere.

That is the difference between the three grades of proof the table on this site distinguishes. Four houses lead to a record of their own; four point at the generic Anjouan register, without an address for the individual document; two are known from the operator’s own page alone. The full scale sits in best online casino.

And the warning that travels with all of them: a Curaçao permit produces effects in Portugal in zero degree. The fourth paragraph of article 5.º of the Regime Jurídico dos Jogos e Apostas Online prohibits the operation and the playing of unregulated online games and bets, and regulated, here, means entered on the SRIJ register. The nineteen entities standing there on 2 September are listed in legal online casinos in Portugal.

The SRIJ page about the problem of illegal gambling

The 2 500,00€ to 25 000,00€ band attached to online play comes from this regulator page. Inside Decreto-Lei n.º 66/2015 that band belongs to serious offences, in article 61.º, paragraph 5, point b, while playing on an unlicensed site sits in article 58.º, paragraph 2, among the minor ones, with a ceiling of 2500 € under point c.

One million USDT a week

Clause 6.10 sets a ceiling of 1 000 000 USDT a week. It is the highest number in the column and it stands two orders of magnitude above the lowest, the 5000 USD a month written by Rocketpot.

Resisting the easy reading is worth the effort. A ceiling of a million promises that a million leaves in no sense: it is the amount above which the operator wrote that it withholds payment that week, and it says very little about what happens to sums a thousand times smaller. Somebody withdrawing three hundred euros comes near this clause at no point, and passes through a different one. What decides an ordinary request is always the verification clause, because that is what triggers at the amounts almost everybody moves in — and that is what fixes how many papers, in how long, and under what consequence.

A high ceiling is other than a fast payment.

Checks above 2500 EUR. Clause 6.6 provides for additional verification above 2500 EUR or its cryptocurrency equivalent. It is one of the three published thresholds in the table, alongside Rocketpot’s 2500 USD and the 2000 USDT of Empire.io, and like them it is a floor for the rule rather than a ceiling on discretion.

The operator has a sportsbook. We recorded cryptographic result verification in no field, nor the number of coins accepted, nor the game or supplier counts, nor the start year. Those are unfilled fields, and unfilled means we failed to read them.

The only country named is Japan

At all ten houses in the table we went to read the list of countries whose residents are refused accounts. Nine were legible, and this is one of the two naming a single country: Japan. The other is Bitsler, with American Samoa.

Portugal appears in this list and in the other eight in no form. That falls short of an authorisation, and it needs saying plainly: licensing belongs to the State rather than to the operator. Article 58.º of the RJO applies to the person playing regardless of what the house wrote about countries, with the 2500 € ceiling of point c) of article 61.º, explained in the player’s fine.

Why a crypto cashier closes the Portuguese door

This house works in crypto-assets, and that is where the reason all ten sit outside the register becomes visible. Article 42.º of the RJO admits, in online gaming and betting operations, only «instrumentos de pagamento eletrónicos que utilizem moeda com curso legal em Portugal», electronic payment instruments using currency that is legal tender in Portugal. The next paragraph requires the instrument to come from an authorised payment service provider and to allow the person ordering the operation to be correctly identified. Two conditions rather than one.

It is a condition of the licence that the whole business model fails to meet, rather than a prohibition aimed at this brand or at any other. The full explanation, with the text of the rule, sits in legal online casino.

We hold an account at this operator in zero quantity and an experience of playing is described in none of this page. The two sources are the terms and conditions published in the site’s own help centre and the Curaçao Gaming Authority record, read in August and September 2026. The procedure sits in how we read the documents.
